Overview
The Hong Kong Outdoor Learning Association (HKOLA) is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and self-driven individual to join our Steering Committee.
You'll play a crucial role in advancing our mission of promoting safe, high-quality outdoor learning across Hong Kong. If you're someone who is not only well-versed in outdoor education but also eager to make a positive impact within our community, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Participate Actively: Attend and engage actively in at least 8 committee meetings per year. Your insights and participation are key!
Collaborate with Purpose: Work closely with fellow committee members on projects that align with our mission, fostering a sense of teamwork and camaraderie.
Innovate and Strategize: Bring fresh ideas and strategies to the table to enhance outdoor learning opportunities in our community.
Coordinate Events: Help coordinate and run engaging events, workshops, and initiatives that advocate for outdoor education.
Engage and Listen: Connect with stakeholders and members to gather valuable feedback and continuously improve our services.
Represent HKOLA: Be the face of HKOLA at relevant events and outreach activities, showcasing our commitment to outdoor learning.
Qualifications
Passion for the Outdoors: A genuine love for outdoor learning and education is essential.
Relevant Expertise: Experience in the outdoor learning sector or related fields is highly valued.
Commitment to Mission: A strong alignment with the mission and values of HKOLA.
Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and a knack for working effectively in a team.
Independence and Initiative: Ability to work independently while effectively managing projects.
Residency: Must be a resident of Hong Kong and over 18 years old.
Membership: Must be a current member of HKOLA or willing to become one upon selection.
